Welcome to the Marine Military Academy Air Wing, where we pride ourselves on aviation academic excellence coupled with safe, practical flying skills.
Our team of Instructor Pilots (I/P’s) bring a wealth of experience from all branches of the Military and corporate aviation world. We believe that diversity and cultural differences should be an integral part of flight training if our students are to be ready to fly in a Global society.
Our Instructor’s come from USMC, USAF, USCG, U.S Army, USN, Airborne Forces, Royal Air Force, French Foreign Legion, Israeli Defense Force (IDF), Northwest Airlines and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).
The Air Wing is ready to take your son through the complete Professional Pilot syllabus up to and including Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). As an added bonus, cadets in their final year at MMA are able to act as I/Ps and receive compensation for their services as Flight Instructor’s.
The Air Wing Syllabus Includes:
| Private Pilot – 1 year |
Commercial Pilot/CFI – 1 year |
| Instrument Pilot – 1 year |
Instructor Pilot (I/P) – 1 year * |
* Qualified I/Ps in their final year are eligible for employment as an Instructor
at the Air Wing while completing their studies. |
Cadets may take all or part of the program and our counselors will assist in putting together a custom aviation experience for your son. In addition we offer Aerospace electives and summer camps for those wishing to follow aviation as a career either in the Military of Civilian world and who wish to undergo intensive training over the summer months.
In the final analysis your son will leave MMA (Air Wing) with an appropriate flight qualification commensurate with his aviation career aspirations and where, if he achieves his commercial certificate, he has a resume that is immediately marketable upon graduation.
The Air Wing has financing options available and will be happy to discuss them on an individual basis with parents.
Thank you for your interest and I encourage you to browse the rest of our website and call if you have any questions - (956) AIR-WING.
